NOTICE INVITING TENDERS
Sealed item rate tenders are hereby invited on
behalf of National Hydroelectric Power Corporation
Limited for the below noted work from the approved and
experienced contractors of NHPC, CPWD, MES, State PWD
‘s, Railways and/or other leading Public Sector
Undertakings in appropriate class:

TERMS AND
CONDITIONS:
1.
The
intending bidders must submit their valid experience
certificates along with award letter in token of having
executed successfully the similar works as under:
-
I.
Average
Annual financial turnover during the last 3 years,
ending 31st
March 2007, should be
at least 30% of the estimated
cost.
II.
“Experience
of having successfully completed similar works during
last 7 years ending last day of month previous to the
one in which applications are invited should be either
of the following: -
a. Three
similar completed works costing not less than the amount
equal to 40% of the estimated
cost.
or
b. Two
similar completed works costing not less than the amount
equal to 50% of the estimated
cost.
or
c. One
similar completed work costing not less than the amount
equal to 80% of the estimated cost.
2.
The
intending bidder should submit proof of Registration
certificate, PAN No., Sale
tax no., Provident Fund Code no. Allotted by Regional
Provident Fund Commissioner except J&K accompanying
the tender documents and Labour
Licence/to get insured in case work is awarded. All
these documentary proofs must be attested from any
attesting authority.
2. (a). The Service Tax
Registration no. is also be attached/ supplied with the
application for issue of tender Document if applicable
in above mention work (s). The Service Tax shall be
payable if applicable, subject to compliance of
statutory provision by the contractor in respect to
service tax registration No. and proof of deposit
etc.
3.
The work is
to be executed at
CPS-II, Distt. Chamba (H.P).
4.
Tender documents
can be downloaded from the NHPC web site
http:\www.nhpcindia.com. The payment of tender cost
which is Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five hundred only) non
refundable in the shape of demand draft drawn in favour
of NHPC ltd. Payable at SBI, Chamba (code No. 0626)
Distt. Chamba (HP) shall be deposited at the time of
submission of such downloaded tender
documents.
5.
Tender document
can also be had from the office of the undersigned on
dates mentioned above up to 1200 hrs on payment of Rs.
500/- (Rupees Five hundred only) non refundable, in the
shape of demand draft/ Banker’s Cheque drawn in favour
of NHPC Ltd.
Payable at SBI, Chamba (code No. 0626) Distt.
Chamba (H.P.).
The tender document can also be sent through Post if
requested with additional cost of Rs.50.00 for each
tender document
6.
Tender should
reach in the office of the undersigned with in above
scheduled date by registered post or by hand.
Tender received
late on account of postal delay shall not be considered.
The tenders shall be opened in the office of the
undersigned on the last date of receipt as mentioned
above in the presence of intending bidders who may like
to be present.
7.
The
tenders are to be submitted in two separate sealed
envelope and clearly indicating as below and each
envelope should contain documents as indicated below:
a.
Envelop
No. 1. Shall contain Pre-qualification
bid:
i.
Cost
of tender along with all other documents required under
clause No. 1 & 2 above, in case
tender documents has been downloaded from NHPC’ s
website.
ii.
EMD
for the work mentioned above.
b.
Envelop
No.
2. Shall contain Price bid of the
work.
*Note:
- Price bid shall not be opened if the contractor is not
qualified in pre-qualification
bid.
8.
Tender
without cost of tender in case tender documents has been
downloaded from NHPC‘s website, EMD for the work
mentioned above and proof of Registration certificates,
sales tax No., Pan No. Service Tax registration from
local, / Central Excise office and Provident Fund Code
No. allotted by Regional Provident Fund Commissioner,
except J&K and experience certificate as per clause
1(i) of terms and condition shall be summarily rejected,
unless exempted.
In case, last date of sale, receipt and opening
of tender happens to be holiday, then next working day
shall be the last date for this purpose.
9. EMD in the
shape of Bank Draft drawn in favor of NHPC Ltd. Payable
at SBI, Chamba (HP) Distt. Chamba (HP) after issue of
NIT shall only be accepted.
